Hanging on the gallery wall. Sundown

Another print of the fenland that surrounds us with a typical squat fen cottage and the ranks of the inevitable Norfolk Reed.
The dead reeds are still standing but spearing up from the water and the dyke sides is all the new green growth and within a month all the banksides and headlands will be a bright fresh green and a new home for the reed warblers to start their nest building. Then, as soon as the reed warblers start building their nests in the new growth you can be sure the cuckoo will come calling to drop an egg and a lodger into the tiny nest.
Sundown is printed in an edition of ten on 300gsm Somerset Cream and the image area measures 150mm x 150mm.
