Cold weather brings the usual bonuses, one of which is an alternative presentation of the everyday and mundane.
In this case, a few weeks ago, it was the hedge at the front of the house, a hedge clothed in ice on the leaves and spider webs. Even the ice is presented differently on three different shrubs. Rosemary at the top and then a Juniper which I don't really know the name of and Box.
The ordinary made different by the same weather conditions, splendid.
Today it's still dark and it's pouring down, time for a cup of tea.
