A first glimpse of our favourite asparagus, Purple Passion, breaking through the soil of the asparagus bed after a hard night's growing.
The boss and I have tried four or five different kinds of asparagus as well as our purple favourite and while they are all really good this variety remains, after constant and rigorous testing and tasting, the best we've ever tasted.
We'd better sharpen that asparagus knife and get harvesting to keep those purple stems growing.
