This unusual and charming Needler's triangular toffee tin was found in an antique and collectables shop in West Norfolk. It is possibly from the period embracing the forties and early fifties but having said that it is inevitable that someone will tell us that it's from the thirties. We love it for the shape and the lovely illustration of a blue jay and butterfly.
In its heyday it can't have held more than four ounces of toffees and we bet the wrappers around the toffees were just as beautiful as the tin itself. Just a thought, but were the toffees in the tin triangular too?
Now just where is the dentist's telephone number?
