As we said and everyone knows, it's the year of the Olympics and now the leaning pole event has gathered more momentum and expanded into winter sports. This one may not be as extreme as the current leader of the West Norfolk area heats but it looks good out in the snow at dawn.
That deceptively casual lean as it lets the ski pole take the weight lets you know that this one is a stayer; gifted with stamina and the ability to cope with all that mother nature can possibly throw at it.
The pace, and excitement, is hotting up.
