Early evening and dramatic showers are all around us. The Fens to the West are like a sea; a narrow strip of land with its layers of plant protecting membrane rolling along like the swell on the sea.
Meanwhile the squalls and showers come and go, some hit you and some miss you. This squall is shielding the sunset and providing a unique light show through the fast moving curtain of rain.
The dynamics of the weather provide an ever changing canvas that gives a small insight into just what inspired the famous painters of seascapes and landscapes.
