A very Merry Christmas and a safe 2021 to everyone

For the first time in fifty years the Boss and I are having a Christmas on our own and in a strange way we're quite looking forward to it. Are we becoming anti--social in our old age? Well, if we are we don't care. here's our Christmas card showing me going pike pike fishing and my two Jack Russells being a nuisance and hindering me.

For the celebrations we've got some lovely wine, Turbot for our Christmas dinner and I can sneak off for a few hours pike fishing before Dinner because there isn't the usual amount of preparation and cooking that there is when we are catering for eight plus ourselves, there may even be a few beers left too.

Then light the wood-burner, feet up and relax. With a glass of something of course, have a good one everyone, cheers and good health.

  6. Enjoy your unique Christmas. In Finland, it will be a black Christmas, again. Before global warming, three out of four Chistmas Days were white locally. Last winter was the first ever without any snow all winter. Gutted!
