This tin goes back years, certainly to the 1950's or perhaps even earlier. I was hunting through some old boxes in shed that came out of my father's garage and there was this rusty old tin and Inevitably my interest was piqued by the battered and rusty tin. When it squeaked and rasped open there were just old Allen Keys, split pins, nuts, bolts, washers and springs, the kind of things people used to keep because 'they'll come in useful one day'. They may well do just that but I loved the image on the inside of the lid. I'd never heard of Beefed but it must have been like Oxo Cubes and Bovril.
