Salters Lode where the Nene Ouse Navigation meets the tidal river Great Ouse and pleasure craft can lock into the tidal river and head for Denver Sluice, Ely, Cambridge and the Rivers Wissey and Lark plus many others I am sure.
We look at these scenes and wonder what goes on below the surface. Shoals of Roach, Bream, Tench and predators like Pike, Zander and Perch prowling for their fish supper.
I'm all excited and need to go fishing again, or do I need a fish supper.
