Climbing towards the blue sky above the dense grey clouds an MC130P, a Hercules from Mildenhall, climbs towards the sun and away from the rain.
Is the aircraft going back to the USA or is it on some top secret clandestine mission; we'll never know? We spotted the plane while taking the dogs for their early morning walk in the rain that was pouring from the grey sky.
The older Jack Russell spotted the aircraft, decided that it was far too quiet and not worth a bark, unlike an F15E Eagle or Tornado; now they do get her undivided attention!
I'm just thinking that they must have the coffee on up there... Ah well, back to the rainy walk and the soon to be, very, very muddy terriers.
