We don't seem to be able to get through the 'time of plenty' without alien and strange vegetables appearing.
This fine example of a tomato came from the greenhouse; the tomatoes all looked quite normal in the evening but through the hours of darkness this arrived to greet us in the morning. Why so quick an arrival? Was the greenhouse bathed in some extraterrestrial horticultural light?
Another opportunity to ring the 48th Fighter Wing at Lakenheath to get their F15s to check for UFOs above the house, well we missed that; so we did what all normal people would do.
