Mexican Hat

Casually leant up against the wall, a little bit more treasure is found in an abandoned farm building and they look like a pair of Mexican Hats.
The older farmers round here call them Mexican Hats because they resemble a Sombrero. Used, I am told, for feeding piglets and as a water supply for fowl.
One farmer has several in his orchard and uses them as a water supply for his hens, ducks and geese; given some hot weather like the last few days, the birds climb into them and use them to keep cool.
Once they are in the 'hat' it looks like a strange overcrowded fairground attraction with the birds going round in a circle beak to bum and spraying water everywhere.
