Field mushrooms, a foragers delight

Here's another real belter of a field mushroom, all eight and a half inches of it. It came from the same grassy grove in the orchard as the first of the season and we're sure it'll taste just as good.
Judging by the diameter and thickness of it we should manage about four meals from this beauty. It could be sliced and cooked with garlic then served on toast or perhaps a traditional full English breakfast or maybe an omelette. Then there's always soup.
      We're spoilt for choice.
