It's all over now Bog Door Blue

It was one of those days, quite a special day and an eclipse not to be missed. A day when we could actually see the mystical qualities of our favourite and god-like transformer box. The boss reckoned we should celebrate a little, what with the day being so important in the astronomic calendar. So I suggested woad.
Why not? We could go all ancient Norfolk and tribal, well pre-Roman at the very least. What could possibly be better?
Friday was a lovely warm day so why not run around the front garden clad only loin cloths and beads painted Norfolk Bog Door Blue waving sharp knives and spears and drinking intoxicating beverages. In the end we agreed on a compromise, the boss decided it was too early for intoxicating beverages.
The home they have put us in is really comfy but the music is awful. The chairs are easy wipe vinyl so they can clean off the woad and spilt food and now, after our soup, we're feeling comfortably numb.
All this because I said I saw a London bus and two German World War II bombers on the dark side of the moon during the eclipse. Nor did they appreciate the fact that we thought their pretty blue lights were Norfolk Bog Door Blue either.
What an over-reaction to a bit of simple West Norfolk fun.

  3. Great stuff TT! Your pics are much better than mine, it went freezing here. I prefer the Chocolate Watchband version myself. Don't fret about the footy I would love to be in Boro's position, great win against Derby by the way. We may have turned the corner, but anything can happen at our mad club! TTFN Dickie

  7. I was reading a book by Dr Steve Peters ( who has worked with British cycling team, Johnny Wilkinson,, Liverpool FC, etc ) and something he said was "Everything is as important, or unimportant, as you want to make it". So lets carry on if it amuses us !
