Under the sky of blue

It's lovely clear West Norfolk morning highlighted by the clarity of the vapour trail created by one lone aircraft creating a scalpel cut in the sky.
Just think about what this patch of beautiful blue sky would have looked like back in 1944. I'm sure that a sky as clear and blue as this would have resembled a set of lace curtains with the massed ranks of American and British aircraft creating hundreds and thousands of vapour trails.
Thank goodness it's peaceful this morning, it's nearly the weekend and the fast jets from the RAF and USAF are not ripping up the sky.
Time to read the paper and enjoy a coffee, I love it when a plan comes together.
      Now, twelve across...
