A new linocut print of the typical Fenland landscape but in this time realised in autumn colours. The Fenland landscape and the groups of working buildings around the farms fascinate me. Always low to the landscape to reduce the effect of the winds that can and do blow here. Always with tree and orchard windbreaks strategically placed to break up the prevailing south westerlies and westerlies, and always under big the big skies.
'Fenland in autumn' is printed in seven colours in an edition of 10 on 300gsm Madrid Litho and measures 21cms x 21cms.
