Verticals, horizontals and diagonals

I love the hard patterns and abstractions made by the angled sunlight. This was early morning on the first terrier walk of the day. The shadows on the ground are tractor tyre marks where the wheelings have been made and all the shades of ochre and brown in the foreground are gradually being broken up by the winter wheat which is now about four inches high.
I suppose it was just one of those fortuitous moments when everything looks just right, the light, the colours and the textures.
I'll try for the same fortuitous moment with a set of numbers and a ticket in the lottery on Saturday.
No, I didn't think so either.
