A follower of the Two Terriers asked me to produce thirty Christmas Cards for him featuring his Norfolk Terrier called Dodger. Now that really is a great name for a terrier by the way and it will go into my compendium of terrier names but that's definitely a project for another day.
I don't know a lot about Norfolk Terriers but we've found a pub in Thetford that's called The Norfolk Terrier and apparently they do a Sunday dinner that any terrier would be happy to steal and eat so there's a link.
Anyway, here's Dodger on the shooting range at Hythe, master of all that he surveys and he's probably running a critical eye over the accuracy of the riflemen who are at target practice.
Thank goodness terriers can't handle a weapon, either high or low velocity, they'd really be trouble then. To confuse the metaphors that skill would be another string added to their bow.
Sorry about that but it was a sitting target.
What a fabulous picture TT, very special - Dodger looks fabulous too. I have likings for Norfolk Terriers. Is that a Martello Tower in the background? TTFN Dickie

ReplyDeleteDickie, it is Martello tower on the seaward side of the Hythe Ranges, Dodger's owner is a Major in the Ghurkas. A good man. Good to hear from you too Dickie! regards, John
