. . . and there's more

The crops and supplies just keep on coming. The onions are crackers, if we had a village show I would have definitely been showing a trio of them, all perfect and manicured of course but as it is the Boss and I are just eating them. Well that's what they're for after all.

The Aubergines are finally coming on nicely and here's one dedicated to all the Pawbrokers out there who may be reading this. I'm sure that there are lots of other applications and interpretations for this rogue vegetable.

Finally the Trinidad Perfume Chillies are cropping really heavily, They're not Habanero hot although they may look as if they they are actually mild and delicately perfumed as they cook. The Boss dehydrates them and they're used whole in casseroles and in fact in any dish that you like. Fabulous looking fruit though. There's still the Machu Picchu to come and also the Guajillos, there's lots more to look forward to before autumn gets under way properly.
