A courgette straight from the end of the pier. It's a seaside postcard or Frankie Howerd theme even something from 'Round the Horne'!
We prefer it this way up but it can go the other way if preferred; it all depends on your point of view. If they were selling these down the market we would love to hear the sales chat coming from the stalls.
We've had some strange vegetables this year, goodness knows why but we feel the the answer must lie in the soil! You make your own mind up.
Time to check the cucumbers…
