The Liverton Fox

A linocut in nine colours. A fox races across an icy road in the North Yorkshire Moors into the field and is about to disappear to the left.
The print was produced using sketch book research and references gathered in the 1960's. This fortunate fox got away with running over a moorland road, managing to dodge any oncoming vehicles. On the busy main roads where we live now he would not be so lucky. If a cat has nine lives just how many does a fox have?
