Golden Eagle spotted in West Norfolk

We spotted this fine specimen whilst out on patrol on Sunday, me driving and the boss in the turret, as usual.
What a beauty! We'd like both him and his brother or sister on some gateposts or even just in the garden. They would certainly scare the cats that got past the Jack Russells, in fact they would even make me jump on a dark night.
We think he looks a little bit wistful standing on his plinth with his broken lower beak but we can forgive him that little idiosyncrasy, the upper beak is still looking pretty impressive and useful.
The pose reminds me of the counterbalance weight in the form of an eagle that sits proudly on the top of a Columbian printing press; those good old Victorians had an amazing eye for the over-the-top detail.
Will his wonderful feathered trousers will catch on as the next fashion trend?
