Another relic of the Norfolk brewery Bullards; this old beer crate was found languishing at the back of some farm buildings, stuffed full of junk and old electrical equipment.
Well, we're such sentimental old fools that it's now being dried out, the woodworm treated and all in all it is going to have a new lease of life. The patination will give it character and help it project a careworn and experienced attitude to the world.
If only it had been full of beer, a time capsule of days gone by, but it's not and it will probably get filled with our 'junk' in the shed or maybe we start a 'Heritage Box' business.
I suppose I could put beer in it for a more authentic period look.
Now that does sounds like a plan.
