The end of the line for a bushel box. A relaxing retirement as a container for bailing twine but mother nature, the weather and the seasons are slowly taking their toll the wood turning the same colour as the dead thistles.
When a side drops out the responsibility for the twine will move on and the box will be converted into kindling for firelighting and, if it was in this house, the wood ash would go on the garden.
