Cloud works in progress


      An absolutely belting example of Cirrus fibratus although some would say it could be Cirrostratus fibratus because they both have, apparently, a very similar character and that doesn't help us amateurs one little bit.
      Whatever, as the younger generation say, but you have to admit it is a lovely display arcing across the dome that is the Fenland sky. In the distance there is what appears to be a layer of Stratocumulus duplicatus also known as multiple stratocumulus, it doesn't get any easier does it!
      Time to get the Observer's Book of Clouds out again, or maybe buy a newer reference book.
