High in the sky two F15s are dog fighting and one of them is turning ever tighter than the other to get on his fellow pilot's tail.
The trail left by the tighter turning fighter looks like a scalpel cut in the blue sky. Is the trail a condensation trail from his engine or is it water vapour being condensed off his wing tips? Strangely his opponent isn't leaving any trail at all. Ah, the mysteries of aeronautics!
Then there's the noise, fuel being turned into noise and we love those air defence grey friends in the Norfolk skies. We just wish they would fly a bit lower so we could have a better view of the display.
Still they'll be back tomorrow and hopefully there'll be no clouds to spoil the view.
