Weathered and rusted

Two more examples of distressing and rusting created by that genius the weather. Inevitably we discovered them both while we were out walking the dogs one morning.
Two pictures for the connoisseurs of the weatherbeaten and the rusted. What about that mad, vibrant electric blue? We seem to find it everywhere in West Norfolk and we're convinced that one of the heritage paint manufacturers will soon discover the hue renaming it 'below stairs', 'housemaid's door' or maybe even 'bog door', no sorry, that should be 'privy door'.
The rusted can? Well we didn't have the heart to move it because it is the hibernation season and there would be nothing worse for a hibernating shrew or vole to think that they were being trained for space travel as they were rudely awoken by being thrown around their lovely waterproof home.
      Sleep on little creatures.
