Friday night in the freezer

Out of bed at six thirty to make a cup of tea, a peep out of the window and it's foggy, check the weather station and it's 14.9 degrees? Rub bleary eyes and it's actually -14.9 degrees!
Back again after a walk to buy eggs and it's warming up quickly, as in -11.6 degrees; no pike fishing again but here are some pictures of the walk to and from the farm.
A pictorial Sunday supplement of a Saturday morning walk.

The rabbits must be hungry, starving in fact, their food sources frozen into the ground or hidden under snow so they're eating the bark off the fruit tree prunings that are lying in the snow on the orchard floor.
It's hard times for all the animals and birds.
