Oh what a beautiful morning!

There was a freezing cold North Westerly wind blowing and unbelievable clarity in the sky with not a cloud to be seen. We were walking the two terriers this morning marvelling at the sky and how cold our ears and faces were as we headed into the wind.
Around here they call it the lazy wind; it can't be bothered to go round you so it just goes straight through you and believe me this is a description that has some merit as far as we were concerned.
The starlings and fieldfares were singing away happily in the tops of the swaying trees enjoying the rock and roll created by the stiff breeze, although we reckoned it was their beaks chattering with the cold!
We were lucky because we were heading back for a lovely hot coffee and a slice of homemade cake!
