Sing if you're winning Robin Redbreast

Two robins perched in two different trees, one a beech the other an acacia. They are both engaged in a competition that seems to be all about who can sing the loudest and the longest. We were outward bound with the two terriers and they were going at it hammer and tongs; on our return they were still going at it hammer and tongs.
We are still amazed that something so small can make such a racket, albeit a really tuneful one. They weigh next to nothing too. At our previous home we had a resident robin that used to land on my hand for mealworms and he, or she, weighed nothing. All you were aware of were the tiny claws grasping your finger.
Round two starts tomorrow at dawn.
