Eyes west

Some views to the west and into Cambridgeshire as the dusk draws in. It never ceases to amaze us how different the light, cloud and atmosphere can be each evening.
For the the enthusiastic cloud spotters we reckon we've got stratocumulus and ground mist forming and following some really angry looking stratocumulus that would seem to be the herald of bad weather and cirrus spissatus mixing with some vapour trails.
We wonder what this evening will bring us from the light show in the sky.
For your information it was a uniform mid-grey.
