A curve in The Fens is a true rarity, people unfamiliar with this area think everything here runs in straight lines, all right angles and diagonals but now we can disprove the theory.
May we present a graceful curve, or a graceful arc or maybe just a bit of a wobble by the tractor driver as he adjusted the balance and tone of his eight speaker stereo and fiddled with his GPS system and computer.
In reality it's a dyke that has gradually filled in because of a lack of routine maintenance.
Either way it's a curve and we'll watch out for more to further disprove the theory, probably when we're on the way home from the pub.
Then, of course, we might be walking in curves, arcs and wobbles but never mind we'll fall off that bridge when we come to it.
