Once again the Two Terriers has found yet another restoration and DIY opportunity for the discerning home-maker who is craving something different.
This is a modest and simple project; the usual roof, wall, floor, door and window replacement but the deal clincher is the small tree on the left. Just think of the fun you'll have sorting out the roots in the foundations, soil and water pipes and repairing the subsidence that the old ash tree has caused; meanwhile you are honing your newly acquired tree surgeon skills.
If you like ivy, well that gives the building yet another perspective and think of the spiders, birds and mice that live in that glorious creeper. Apparently rats can use ivy as a ladder into your house too. The opportunities just keep stacking up.
