You know the sales patter off by heart by now but for the enthusiastic angler this would be a real snip, a dream location you might say.
Plenty of pike, perch and zander plus roach, rudd, bream, tench, eels and rumours of the odd sea trout; what more could an angler ask for. You would have the entire close season to bring the property up to scratch and then a little finessing once the season was under way. If the plan works out you could moor the White Rose on your river frontage.
How do I broach this one with the boss? The water feature? The secluded location? The easy maintenance? With that list it almost sells itself.
I still think I'll have to choose my moment very carefully.
