Hanging on the gallery wall

Purple haze

The last few weeks have seen an explosion of yellow oil seed rape all over England and nowhere more so than in West Norfolk and Fenland.
The great swathes of yellow must look fantastic from the air, and they are yet another colourway in the patchwork quilt that is the English countryside.
Soon the yellow will be followed by the pink of the potato flowers and the blue of Linseed fields, not to mention the more conventional gold of the late summer harvest  and the bright orange pumpkins in the autumn.
Purple haze is a linocut, 297mm x 210mm, which is printed in six colours on 310gsm Magnani Litho White paper.
