In the pink

Potato flowers in bloom, not a very glamorous subject but the overwhelming amount of flowers tints the landscape a beautiful and subtle shade, in this case, of pink not the harsh acid colour of oilseed rape. The pinks, lilacs and whites are more hand tinted in weight of colour than the mind altering yellow of the rape seed flowers.
There are more landscape changing colours to come as the summer slides by and the seasons slowly change.
'In the pink' is a linocut in six colours, 300mm x 210mm, and is printed on 250gsm Velin Cuve BFK Rives Blanc paper.
