Sixteen Foot Fog

Winter in Fenland and when a real pea-souper of a fog builds up you can see it rolling towards you across the fields like a grey convulsing wall. Then, when the fog clamps in and smothers everything it acts like an anechoic chamber damping out the sound, just as snow does after a heavy fall.
Sixteen Foot Fog is a linocut, 210mm x 297mm, and is printed in five colours on 300gsm Fabriano Artistico Extra White HP.
