Out on patrol, me driving and the boss in the turret, we spied this charming example of old sign writing and as a bonus some lovely architectural detail above the door.
We reckon that the sign writing must have been carried out in the 'forties or 'fifties, to us it seems quite evocative of that particular era. We can almost hear the Atkinson, Foden and Seddon lorries firing up their Gardner engines in the yard at the back.
For the colour purists there is a new hue to add to the West Norfolk Heritage range of colours, this can be found under Thunderbox Green, fantastic!
