A trip through the alimentary canal

      Not quite like a trip to Suez but these pumpkin seeds have had an exciting journey through the alimentary canal of beef cattle instead and are now growing on a huge manure heap.
      We reckon that they'll grow into huge pumpkins too, with all that manure to push their roots into. The damaged pumpkins were given as bonus feed to the cattle last autumn and have survived the the journey from front to back, top to bottom and now the natural urge is to grow and they are doing just that.
      Halloween awaits for these potential monsters!
