Believe it or not this is just a small field of pumpkins, there are fields locally with forty or fifty thousand pumpkins in them all ready for harvest and it's an early harvest this year too.
They are too early for Halloween so all of the pulp that is extracted from them will go to bulk up fruit pies, jams and animal food.
Does this mean a shortage of pumpkins when Halloween arrives?
Who knows, but we feel sure that some will be magicked up from somewhere to help with the Halloween celebrations.
