A touch Japanese

A foggy, tranquil morning  and as the dykes fill up with rain, the heavy dew bends the reeds back towards the surface of the water. It's another little piece of the jigsaw that makes a calming Buddhist garden, well it is before a terrier launches himself into it!
This long dyke has no fish in it; just sticklebacks, eels, newts, frogs and toads.
There are no fantasies about Pike here, although you could imagine them lying motionless under the reeds.
Maybe a quick trip this afternoon then?
