A pair of swans sift through the surface weed feeding to their hearts content while the sun shines down on The Old Bedford River. It's not really a river, it's a drain with little or no current, but let's not get technical, river will do nicely.
The swans would seem to have a good sized portion of salad to work through here and when you look 'downstream' towards the lock gates they've also got enough for plenty of second helpings too.
The clear water is an an anglers delight and the swan's delight is the floating salad.
