A lovely pile

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours logs, or words to that effect anyway.
Why not? It's perfectly natural when they're beautifully seasoned apple, pear and plum wood that smells wonderful as it burns and it burns for a long time too.
I reckon that this log store has enough wood in it for at least ten years burning after the cords are sawn up and split.
It's a strange paradox that as the logs slowly season I get greener.
I must ask Father Christmas for some in a couple of weeks time.
