Helpful festive tips, part two




      This is a truly hot tip to put some festive colour on the Christmas Tree you've pinched from the local wood or park. We know they work too because we put them up year after year, in fact they've been going on a tree every Christmas for sixty five years. That's right sixty five years.
      They're made from table tennis balls and painted by hand. This set of four is all that is left of twenty four that my father painted in 1947 when he came out of the RAF, there's durability for you, and they still bounce.
      So down to the Pound Shop you go, pinch the grandchildren's paint brushes and get some lovely colours and crack on.
      If you are a politician, eurocrat or banker, (I think that is how you spell it) you'll be able to afford aerosol paints and the children will do them for you. You aren't much good for anything else and besides the kids won't cock it up like you would.
