A grey dawn and it feels like Ice Station Zebra, another minus seven night and the world has turned white and very, very icy. The fog remains too, freezing onto any flat surface that seems even slightly interested.
Once again my favourite Pike fishing haunts will remain frozen over and the baits will stay in my deep freeze, there's a certain irony to that situation; one thing's for sure they'd take a long time to defrost if I removed them from the freezer to the freezer.
Now it's time for a chilly and icy walk for the dogs but they'll be OK because they're fitted with FPD, otherwise known as Four Paw Drive.
