Late afternoon and a strange atmospheric light briefly and fleetingly suffuses the landscape making the panorama look slightly out of focus and soft; it's certainly getting a very impressionistic look to it.
No doubt this means that it will be a misty, if not foggy night and dawn, but we'll worry about that when we get there.
Meanwhile out come the oil paints... no a beer.
