One morning, before the rain and wind arrived, we were greeted with this wonderful icy landscape. The freezing fog had iced one side of the trees giving the entire landscape the look of having been carefully and industriously air-brushed and shaded.
Up close we find there's yet another world on a much smaller but just as amazing scale, however the weather change arrived last night bringing a raw, howling, Easterly wind carrying icy rain.
The temperature hasn't risen much above freezing but the great greyness has returned.
