We all need cheering up in the grey days after Christmas and the New Year so what could be better than this fine example of the art of the sign writer with some cheery gold leaf thrown in for good measure. In this case all that glitters is gold and as an added bonus there's a lovely red drop shadow.
It's a pity about the spider's nests in the corners and all-in-all the window could do with a good clean. In fact, whoever cut the white paint in on the old Victorian frame should have used masking tape first but you can't have everything.
