Naturally dried prunes

These air and weather dried Tsar Plums don't look very appetising do they? Strangely even the birds aren't interested in them either and they are really hungry at the moment. But obviously not that hungry.
Quite a lot of the fruits have hung on through the autumn and into the winter, I keep thinking I'll try one and chickening out when I get a good look at them.
Maybe mixed in with a bit of cereal or, worse still, Meusli, might help to make them palatable. No, I thought not too.
The 'noble rot' may make fine wines but I think eating these would only speed the sprint to the WC!
