Needless to say this relief adorns the facade of Jubilee Cottage and we can't tell whether it is carved or moulded but either way it's a smart piece of decoration.
Even the full points on the bottom line show that those Victorians weren't perfect. Maybe the stonemason who produced the plaque downed chisels and went out out for a refreshing lunchtime bevy at the Stonemason's Arms and then came back and finished it off with a final flourish.
Either way we hope he enjoyed his beer and we'll forgive him the dropped full point after the number seven.
